I’m sure most of you remember the traditional Rice Bubble slice from when you were growing up…..? I definitely do, especially at birthday parties. We all loved it when we were kids. So I set out to create a healthy alternative that tasted just as good so the kids could enjoy it! The traditional slice was made up of sugar, butter, honey and rice bubbles so I have substituted these and opted for whole food ingredients that result in a slice that kids both big and small will love. These Muesli Bars are a great option to have on hand when you feel the urge to snack. A healthy alternative to store bought muesli bars and great for us busy mums as they require no prep. Popular snack for adults and a great addition to kids lunchboxes.
As a busy mum, I love having something healthy on hand to reach for when I feel the urge to snack (which seems to be often especially since I’m breastfeeding….).
