Dinner Inspo 🥘 On the menu tonight is Healthier Pad Thai. A simple and much healthier alternative to the Pad Thai recipes/takeaway dishes that we’re used to. But still so tasty!! One of my favourite cafes in Auckland @catrouxcafe - to prove this, it was my third visit this week.... 😬 Mum is in town and we quite enjoyed the stroll down to Catroux each day with Freddie and today with the whole fam💕 This is the Mushrooms with Kumera Rosti, roasted onions and green goddess dressing. Super tasty!!
Spending time preparing meals is sometimes difficult with a newborn. The @huntergatherergourmet baking mixes sure make this easier. This morning I made up a batch of pancakes using their pancake mix. Just made a few tweaks, as I always do 😉 with some cinnamon and pure vanilla extract. So simple and tasty 💕I topped these with fresh fruit and @cathedralcovenaturals coconut yoghurt and their raw activated super cereal 🌸
It may be a brisk Auckland day but the sun’s out and it’s so nice to be getting outside for a walk and some fresh air ❄️ ☀️ 💕 I believe it’s so important post baby to get out and about when you can. Obviously just taking it easy at first is vital and you’ll know if you overdo it. Just start off with short walks and gradually increase these everyday. Everyone is different so don’t compare yourself to other mums - just do what is right for you! 🌸 It’s also good for peace of mind - I’d go crazy if I didn’t get some fresh air each day. I certainly get cabin fever if I don’t get outside!
